Well, partitioning my hard drive (For vista) failed. And when it did, it took XP with it. Nothing that running chkdsk from my XP CD couldn’t fix, though. The error was something about attribute too long while it was resizing my main partition.

Even if I can’t install vista, at least it gave me the initiative to clear 5 GB off of my hard drive, which is good.

On a side note, I love my 1 GB of RAM. The Sims 2 loads fast even while I have it running in the background so I can type this.

Also, for the past two weeks I’ve had spyware I semi-purposefully put there. As in, I knew the program I was running was adware, but the file in question (C:\windows\system32\wvwtt.dll) didn’t appear to exist. Luckily, Google Wins.

K, so our old pretty new Linksys Wireless G router died last week. As in, no function whatsoever, no 192.168.1.1, etc. So my dad called Linksys on Saturday, and told them everything, they had him check to help ascertain that guess what? It’s dead. So they sent us a new one. It just arrived.

If I feel like being wierd, and if I can get the gallery working, I’ll upload pictures later. But then again, it’s a ROUTER. How many pictures of it do you need?

On…Windows Update:

I hate Windows Update. First of all, it’s like fighting a losing battle. Windows sucks anyways. But that’s not why I hate it. I hate it because I sometimes leave my laptop on overnight to let something finish running. I come down in the morning and it’s rebooted and stuck at my BIOS password prompt. And when I boot windows again, it has the nerve to tell me, “Oh, by the way, I rebooted your computer for you, in case you haven’t noticed. But there’s good news. You’re now up to date and using the most recent version of the shittiest operating system ever!”
