Wow…Yeah.

I agree with the comments of others that say MS shouldn’t opensource everything. Maybe older code like 95 or 98 or even 3.1 and DOS. Or they could opensource their accessories like Media Player and Notepad, that sounds like a good idea too. The thing is, the threat of what license and would it provide enough freedom to do any help. That, and bugs that may cripple the software, but with old software that shouldn’t be too much of a problem, as long as they only release the source for rare-ly used programs. It might effect things like Media Player, but it might help as well.
